Hello,

today I suddenly started getting the following error at all attempts to create a project using the biztalk software factory solution. I tried reinstalling and also uninstalling and reinstalling everything required by the BTS SW factory but the error is still there.

Any idea about what might be causing it?

Hi Stefano,

Are you still able to create BizTalk projects in Visual Studio without the BSF?

Wow! No Jean-Paul, even normal BizTalk projects fail at being created! I hadn't noticed this :-)
Any advice?

Thx.

That is probably caused by some Visual Studio update, it is known to occur with Visual Studio 2008 SP1. That breaks the the BizTalk templates.

You could try to perform a BizTalk 'repair'.

Perhaps this is the problem: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee449462(BTS.10).aspx

Good luck,
